Mr. Mcshane has extensive experience in road and bridge construction and mechanical engineering and a host of other complex disciplines. Mr. Mcshane served as at NYSDOT – Region 11 under the title of Civil Engineer 1. His responsibilities included all aspects of bridge repair and reconstruction inspection. This included supporting major design-build projects; developing requests for proposals (“RFP”s) documents for design-build projects in coordination with design consultants and regional staff; planning and scheduling projects; supporting regional design and construction staff; performing consultant management duties in support of consultant contracts for Statewide Design; preparing, updating, and/or reviewing Engineering Instructions, Engineering Bulletins, policies, procedures, guidance, special specifications, and training manuals related to project management; representing the Project Management Office; coordinating with Third-Party Hosting companies in managing and supporting project management activities. Mr. Mcshane has extensive knowledge of NYSDOT protocols, engineering specifications, requirements and union rules. An expert in Construction Safety Mr. Mcshane is a flexible goal-oriented team player. Mr. Mcshane has overseen the repair and refurbishing of all manner of infrastructure and ancillary support structures and has also met with community representatives, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Mr. Mcshane oversaw compliance with the DOT safety program and is OSHEA certified. In the early days of his public service career, Mr. Mcshane secured peace officer status.  Mr. Mcshane has an MBA, innumerable licenses, and certifications including locksmithing, refrigeration, and a litany of others. A bouting enthusiast Mr. Mcshane’s knowledge of matters nautical is uncanny. Having served on the Community District Education Council in North East Queens and overseen NYSDPT protocols for many years Mr. McShane’s breadth of knowledge with City and State processes and bureaucracies is extensive.
